Jamie Palmer originally comes from Solihull in the UK and has a background in corporate hospitality and event management. Today he has a strong portfolio of Corporate clients investing all over the Island of Tenerife and is on the journey to build one of the most successful real estate agents in the Canary Islands.
How did you end up in Tenerife?
I was brought up on this beautiful island and after spending all my childhood here in Tenerife I could not see a better place to establish my dream of providing people with the opportunity to live, work and enjoy the experience of what Tenerife has to offer. After returning from working abroad in Stockholm for several years and spending time here during that period on short breaks , I decided I needed to start a company to help others get a better quality of life. I saw huge potential for the future of permanent living in Tenerife thanks to digitalization and our new concept of smart living.
What do you do in your spare time?
I have been playing Sports my entire life so at the moment I love playing Golf and Padel tennis now that my football days are well behind me. As I grew up here I spent a lot of my time out at sea. The Atlantic Ocean is a stunning place full of extreme watersports and relaxing yacht trips. I enjoy soaking up the sun all year round and the selection of different Restaurants we have on offer here in spain.
What’s your main recommendation for people looking for a home in Tenerife?
It is hard to narrow it down to my main reason as It’s the most stunning location in Europe and all major cities fly in. When buying a home in Tenerife, whether it is a second home, Investment opportunity or relocation, the logistical side to Tenerife is incredible. You have everything you need within 5-10 minutes from you and for me, being efficient with your life and valuing your time is important and that is why you should invest in Tenerife.
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food has to be Fish Tapas! This question always comes up in conversation but for me fish Tapas by the Atlantic Ocean is unbeatable.
